Undertaking an assessment of noise for a new boarding and teaching block. Works also undertaken on workshop acoustics and noise at work assessments.
Works had been undertaken for the development of a new boarding house and education space at Uppingham School, including the assessment of plant to surrounding and proposed noise sensitivities. Complaints were received following the removal of the ceiling in the design and technology workshop, an assessment was undertaken determining the required acoustic treatment to meet the necessary reverberation time. Noise at work assessments have been undertaken on both the design and technology teaching workshop and the estates workshop.
